This is a comprehensive beginner lesson covering all aspects of foiling. We teach you safety, foil equipment and practise balance and positioning on land before taking you to the water with our Jet ski.

Learning to foil by being towed behind a Jet Ski. It provides a stable and controlled environment, is an excellent way for beginners to grasp the fundamentals of foiling. It allows focus on board balance and foil control without the added complexity of paddling or wave selection.

In just the last 5 years, hydrofoiling has exploded in popularity across the globe—and for good reason. Foils let you ride with incredible efficiency, gliding effortlessly over water, even in light wind or small swell. They’ve redefined what’s possible, unlocking spots and conditions we never imagined riding before.

Who are Tow Foil Lessons for?

Gear supplied: Foil board, foil, Helmet & Lifejacket supplied.

Feel free to use your own equipment, but please ensure you're physically fit and confident in your swimming abilities since you may need to swim during the session.

You just need to bring yourself and a suitable wetsuit.

Location: Ballina, Richmond River which is perfect for flat water lessons.

You'll receive high-resolution video footage of your foiling experience at the end for feedback and bragging rights!
